XP and Hungry8 Points.

They are not the same thing. XP tracks a visit. Hungry8 Points are what you can redeem.

What does a GPS-only visit earn?

A GPS-only visit earns 25 XP. It does not earn Hungry8 Points.

When do I earn Hungry8 Points?

Only when the restaurant's QR code is scanned. The restaurant funds those points from its partner points pool. If that pool is empty, the scan does not add Hungry8 Points.

When can I redeem Hungry8 Points?

Every Hungry8 Point, including points already in a wallet, is redeemed only when the restaurant's QR code is scanned. Hungry8 Points are not cash.

Do reviews, photos, or referrals earn Hungry8 Points?

No. Hungry8 Points come only from a scanned restaurant QR code.
